Residence Permit for Financially Independent Persons (Autonomous Visitor Permit) Pink Slip is suitable for those with active income from abroad (e.g. remote salary). Autonomous Visitor Permit is designed for individuals with passive income (dividends, rental income) and is a direct route to Permanent Residence after 5 years.
For approval in 2025, you must confirm stable income from abroad:
Main applicant: from €2,000 per month
Spouse: +20% (minimum €400)
Each child: +15%
Additionally, it is recommended to have at least €10,000 per adult in a Cypriot bank account.
The investment-based PR program grants a lifelong status with no renewal requirements:
Purchase new residential property worth at least €300,000 (+ VAT)
Confirm annual income from abroad of at least €50,000
The status allows the whole family to live in Cyprus and apply for citizenship after 7 years.
Cyprus provides unique benefits for new tax residents (Non-Dom status):
Full exemption from tax on worldwide dividends and interest income
No inheritance tax
To obtain the status, it is sufficient to spend only 60 days per year on the island, provided certain conditions are met (ties to Cyprus, housing).

Transfer Fee: 3%–8% depending on property value
Stamp Duty: approx. 0.15%–0.2% of the transaction value
Legal fees: lawyer services usually cost 0.5%–1% of the purchase price
